GOOD MORNING

The July jobs report drops in minutes and it might be the most important number of the summer. Wall Street's been fighting yesterday's oil spike and Iran headlines all morning, and now the labor market walks onto the stage.

What's moving the market: Stocks are digesting a one-two punch. Middle East tensions flared back up Thursday, sending Brent crude toward $83 and yields lower on safe-haven buying.

Now everyone's holding their breath for jobs data at 8:30am.

"Frontier AI" is a point of no return when AI surpasses human intelligence and gains free will. Elon Musk warns this moment could hit by the end of 2026.

According to 60-year Wall Street legend, Marc Chaikin, Frontier AI could soon become the only thing that determines which companies make money and which grind to a halt,

That's why he's giving away a list of stocks to buy and sell absolutely FREE to help you position your money for a world driven by Frontier AI technology.

THE BIG STORY

July Jobs Report Could Make or Break September

Today is all about one number: nonfarm payrolls.

Estimates are all over the map — from 75,000 to 120,000 — which tells you how confused this labor market actually is. The consensus lands near 83,000, with unemployment holding at 4.2%.

Here's why it matters more than usual. Wednesday's ADP report showed private payrolls added just 44,000 jobs, the weakest since January. That miss has traders split on whether the Fed hikes in September. Futures are pricing roughly 57–62% odds of a hike.

A hot print (100K+) pushes yields higher and revives hike bets. A soft print reinforces the "labor market is cooling" story and could pressure the dollar while giving growth stocks room to run.

Bottom line: whichever way this breaks, it sets the tone for the next six weeks of Fed pricing.

BREAKING NEWS

Oil Jumps, Middle East Tensions Resurface

Brent crude spiked toward $83 a barrel Thursday after a fresh flare-up in Middle East tensions and unresolved questions about the Strait of Hormuz.

That move dragged the S&P into a second straight losing session and pushed the dollar higher. Higher energy costs are reviving inflation chatter right as the Fed weighs its next move.

Why it matters: oil at these levels isn't catastrophic, but it complicates the "inflation is cooling" narrative the market has leaned on all summer.

Watch crude closely today — a further spike would compound whatever the jobs number does to sentiment.

FROM OUR PARTNERS

Every major tech company on Earth is racing to build AI.

They're all dependent on the same chips, the same power grid, the same infrastructure...

But when Elon is done with his just-revealed master plan – buried inside the SpaceX S-1 – the AI economy you think you understand won't exist anymore. You could wake up tomorrow and discover your money is suddenly in all the wrong places.

Rob Spivey – whose institutional research is followed by Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and BlackRock – saw this coming.

He has already identified the No. 1 stock positioned from Elon's master plan... and he's giving it away free.

SECTORS TO WATCH

  • Energy — oil's spike is the story of the week

  • Semiconductors — still riding a bounce-back week after Thursday's chip weakness

  • Rate-sensitive small caps — Russell 2000 is the most exposed to today's jobs print

  • Ad tech — Trade Desk's miss could spill into the whole group

SMART INSIGHT

Fed rate-hike odds for September have swung from 68% to under 60% in a matter of days — all without a single new word from Chair Warsh.

That's not conviction. That's a market flying blind into data it doesn't trust yet.

If today's payrolls print lands soft, expect those hike odds to keep sliding fast.

30-SECOND EDGE

If non-farm payrolls print above 100,000: expect yields to jump and growth stocks to take an immediate hit.

If it prints below 75,000: watch the dollar weaken and rate-sensitive names catch a bid.
